Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Paint Farrow & Ball paints are excellent. Great coverage, easy to apply, low odour and a depth you don't get with other paints. Pricey but worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely colour Colour is great (pale cream with a very very slight tinge of green) - very relaxing for our new bedroom - and the finish was eventually very good - I was worried the modern emulsion wouldn't look as good as estate emulsion, but it's lovely and matt. However it took us three coats to cover a pale blue paint (also F&B I believe) - was expecting it to be able to cover in two. We've never painted before though, so there is a chance it might have been our application that was at fault. I would use F&B modern emulsion again, but would do a first coat of cheaper white emulsion first to kill the old colour a bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Colour I must admit I am a Farrow & Ball fan. I find it easy to use with good coverage. As I understand it F&B emulsion has a lot of pigment in it which gives a greater depth of colour. Also it doesn't smell horrendous as some other paints. I used Pointing on the walls and woodwork - it looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality Lovely colour - warm off white, good coverage (two coats and the walls looked great). Nice soft sheen so perfect for the bathroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best paint on the market the quality justifies the extra cost. One coat is sufficient for most applications. it is smooth and easy to apply and best of all YOU GET NO DRIPS OFF THE ROLLER.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product Although more expensive than most emulsion paints we found that Farrow & Ball far outweighs all others for quality and ease of use. It also lasts longer than other emulsions we have tried. We found that applying this paint was so easy as it didn't drip or splash everywhere even with a roller and it dried extremely quickly to leave a smooth finish. We would recommend spending that bit extra as the rewards are huge and it is economical as it lasts longer than other emulsion paints we have used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Costs more, but great finish I was a little wary of the F&B paints initially due to the price, but my wife insisted after reading good things in various design magazines. Now I'm a complete convert. They are lovely paints to use and give a really good finish. Plus they are very low VOC so the smell doesn't linger for days. I would say that a second coat is always beneficial as it gives the full depth of colour and especially so with Pointing. It works really well next to pure white or any of the blues as this shows off the richness of the pigments. Having recently repainted the whole of the house, using seven different paints, it's fair to say that I have reasonable experience and now choose F&B over all other manufacturers
