We moved into a rented "Suffolk Pink " cottage around three years ago, it is a listed 17th century building so the décor has to be maintained to a high quality. The kitchen extension was added on around ten years ago and the cupboards were painted in New White. We took a drawer front with us to Homebase & a helpful member of staff tracked down the colour for us. Farrow & Ball tends to be a bit more expensive than other makes but the quality & the look of the newly spruced up kitchen makes it money. It also helps to buy a good quality brush as the cheaper ones never quite produce the same finish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by fixit very disappointing
Regular user of F&B paints but very disappointed by the switch to all water based product. This product and the Matchstick variant gave excellent finish when oil-based. New paint dries too quickly, leaves brush strokes and (worryingly) is prone to peeling when fully dried and cured - despite meticulous adherence to preparation recommendations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tribbles Best that money can buy
Used F&B for years. Best money can buy due to traditional manufacturing processes. High opacity and coverage even over new plaster. Good range of traditional colours. Pay more but it's worth it as need less coats to cover.
