Went on beautifully. Colour as on colour card. Did need two coats as recommended on tin . But a really good mat finish was end result.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Annoyed Be warned, incompatibility with Crown primer!
I bought this to paint a cabinet. I primed the cabinet carefully with 'Crown Multi Surface Primer', assuming all would be well. The 'Farrow and Ball' paint reacts with the Crown primer, softening it and causing it to bubble up, and lift off. Yes, my fault for not using 'Farrow's' primer, but I have never had such incompatibility problems like this before with any paint. Fortunately I only applied some of the Farrow paint to the inside of the cabinet door, so the minimum of disruption. Tomorrow I will buy some 'Crown' paint to finish the job. I will not be using Farrow and Ball's paint again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by finediner excellent coverage
This paint was amazing. It covered in one coat and the area covered was exceptional.
I also purchased a tester pot to cover an area where a programmer had been replaced and the colour match was perfect despite the wall being decorated several years ago.

I used this to repaint my kitchen, walls and shelves. My new cooker is a similar colour. It all looks fresh, light, clean and feels wonderful.

I have bought several farrow and ball paints and found them to be excellent quality and well worth paying a little extra for.

Needed two coats.
Colour is perfect.

This paint is of the quality expected of Farrow & Ball. It covers both undecorated plaster and decorated surfaces equally well and the slightly higher cost / ltr is offset by fewer coats required compared to many other brands

Farrow and ball paint has a fantastic range of colours however it has to be the worst paint we have to use. It doesn,t cover well and you cant touch up areas without them showing. You also need twice as much paint as other paints, as it costs twice as much as any other paint, it makes any job very costly, Farrow and ball is a pretender, "the kings new clothes" of paint. I have been professional painter for over 25 years and I have never come across a paint that promises so much and delivers so little.
