A very useful and attractive pale green/grey colour, not too green. It is unusual and quite sophisticated. I have used it in a fairly dark, north-facing sitting room where warmer 'beige' type colours did not look right. It would also look nice in a hallway.

Having tried this tester we went on and bought two 2.5L tins of this paint for our lounge. It's excellent quality, covers alot better and further than you might think and is very hard wearing and easy to wipe clean (Modern Emulsion). The colour depth is fantastic and having tried many other branded and non branded paints Farrow & Ball is definitely worth spending that bit extra on...you'll notice the difference.

when you consider the price of the paint these tester pots are very expensive, love Farrow and Ball paint and Do not mind paying for quality paint but a tester pot is used to see if the colour is suitable before you buy a larger tin !
Why not give the customer a discount if they buy the larger one if they have purchased the tester pot !

I'd strongly recommend buying tester pots of paint whatever room or area you are using the paint for. I made a big mistake years ago by choosing a colour for my hall without testing it first and regretted it for years - every time I looked at the hall walls!
Clunch is a great colour: subtle, changing beautifully as the light in the room changes, providing a great background for prints and pictures hung on the wall. Farrow and Ball paints are very good quality - they contain more pigment than most other paints and so look richer on walls. The only disadvantage is the price: you have to pay for better quality, but in the long time it's an excellent investment.

Excellent quality paint as expected, true colour to colour chart, with a beautiful matt finish. The only downside is the price, which is a bit higher that average, and especially if you want to try a few colours before buying.
