This paint is very chalky appearance, even after 3 coats, I used it as an undercoat in the end.

I've not used satin for a long time and wanted a contrast to gloss. The colour of this is what I was after but the surface finish is rubbish, it dries far too quickly and leaves brush marks. It handles like undercoat and definitely needs a second coat - I usually find one perfectly acceptable..

This is an excellent quality satinwood paint. The coverage is really good, it is easy to brushand get a good finish. The colour is really great, just between white and cream, and I have used it to contrast severall other colours. It dries really fast, and is recoatable in a few hours, excellent when you have kids running around!

I was very impressed with this product as I thought I would have to use two coats. Not a bit of it it did the job perfectly with just the one. The product was Hombase own brand which suprised me which is another reason I thought it might need two coats.

In the past I have used traditional oil-based gloss paints which take a long time to dry and are quite toxic to use in a bedroom. This paint went on really easily and dried with no brush strokes - despite the fact I rushed the job and used a cheap brush! It dried super-quick - as it says on the tin - and was low odour. very good paint - I will continue to use on the rest of the woodwork in the house.
