Great paint easy to apply very little drips or runs. Also a lovely bright and fresh colour.

This is a lovely colour as on the tin, it's a rich bright blue and ideal for garden furniture.
It's very good to use, although the instructions only say to shake it if being used in a sprayer I did so even though I used a brush.
You need a minimum of 2 coats to get the best effect, 1 coat is just like a colourwash and a bit insipid.
It goes a darker colour as it dries as do other colours in the range so don't worry if it looks too light when wet.
Just washes out with water and quite easy to clean off skin and metal. Not easy off concrete though. It's a bit like vinyl emulsion.
As for coverage, I found that using a brush I could do 3 fence panels measuring 6ft x 5ft with 2 coats from a 2.5l can and just had a tiny bit leftover. You need much less for the 2nd coat, I'd guess only about a third as much as the 1st coat.

I have always purchased Cuprinol Garden Shades over many years, the quality is excellent and long lasting. I have enjoyed painting a Chalet- type garden shed in Forget Me Not blue with shutters in Country Cream (in fact, I think this feature contributed to the appeal of the quick sale of my last house!). Both plastic and terracotta garden pots painted in Forget Me Not, Sage, Wild Thyme, Willow, Old English Green, Silver Birch, Country Cream and Seagrass (my favourite!), and filled with colourful bulbs, shrubs and summer flowers, have brought comments from friends and family. So many gardeners seem to hesitate to bring bright garden pots and furniture into their gardens. A discarded piece of wooden picket fence dressed out in Forget Me Not blue has proved a great feature in separating a small (eating) patio area from the rest of a quite small garden, whilst a bargain-priced neglected wooden table and chair bought from a car boot sale, and yonks-old handmade bench painted in the same colour proved a satisfying way to spend a couple of hours.Even an old beam with two legs added and coloured in Holly and Seasoned Oak has made a garden feature, whilst a wooden trug, coffee table and small cabinet in a garden room proved candidates for my favourite colour. And, my old-fashioned shopping baskets painted in previous Garden Shade colours many years ago have stood the test of time.
As you can see I am quite a fan of Cuprinol Garden Shades, the results give one a sense of "achievement"!!
So............enough, I have to get back to my painting!
There are all the newly introoduced shades I really must try and introduce to a lot more pots!

I bought this paint to revive our old garden bench as it was very dull and tired looking. So I sandpapered and blew torch on the bench to scrape off the paint. It was hard going anyway I bought this lovely blue paint which looks like a seaside hut colour and painted on the slatted bench. Now it looks so lovely and rejuvenated that I have had people admiring the bench. It was all my own work and I am proud of it!

The product gives very good depth of cover to planters etc. The colour range provides a very sympathetic and alternative option to the usual greens or browns.

We used this to recover an old wooden garden table. I have seen the tables in pubs and wanted to recreate the effect. This did the job brilliantly. It has made a 5 year old table look new. All I needed to do was run over the table with a sander, then I gave the table 3 coats.
