Bit fiddly to keep all the holes lined up to install the light. Looks good once installed and keeps the bathroom nice and bright

The lights are good but come without bulbs which I find a bit of a con and it did not say anywhere on box that you had to buy bulbs, leading to a further trip to a store to collect bulb. Also note , one on shelf had a cracked glass ring so make sure you check for glass damage before you take home

I purchased the light but upon opening at home the glass rim was cracked. I returned and was given a replacement i checked the replacement light was not broken before i left the store. Upon fitting the light i then noticed a mark in the white dome but was able position it out of sight. The light is very difficult to attach to the ceiling because of the number of seals and washers that have to be held in position, the only way i could fix it was to attach all the parts using sellotape and pulling the tape away after fitting the three cover screws. The light looks very good once in place but you will need to check all the parts are not marked or broken before leaving the store.

Bought this the other day, its does look good, but that's about it. Fitting the base to the ceiling was good, three holes to locate a joist and three fixings provided. It went downhill from there, the connector for the live and neutral is too small when your lights are on a circuit (too many cables to fit in. I am sure when they put this together in the factory on a bench it is easy but on a pair of steps reaching up you have to first fit a rather flimsy rubber washer to the base, you then place the outer glass ring, next another flimsy rubber washer then the glass dome, now whilst holding onto this combination you place on the chrome ring and with your spare hand put a tiny rubber washer onto each threaded bar, finally you screw on the nuts, phew. In fact I found it impossible to do it this way and assembled on the bed then lifted the entire thing into place, slightly difficult to locate over the threaded bars, my wife then hand me the chrome ring, three washers and nuts to finally secure the thing, oh and don't forget to put a light bulb in first because you won't want to go through that again.
Next the switching on after dark, this was a bit of a let down as with only one 60w bulb it was still a bit dull in the bathroom, in fact it is proving difficult to read on the toilet now!.
It is rather disappointing, looks good, but I am dreading having to replace a light bulb in the future. Be aware apart from the usual tools you will need three arms, your head a good wife/helper and a long lasting bulb.

This light fitting looks really nice and to that end it is a good buy; but, it is a nightmare to fit, especially when you have to change the bulb after a couple of years.
The difficulty is putting the glass fit back on, given that one has to thread a rubber seal, the glass, another rubber seal, the ceramic glass, and then the chrome-plated piece of metal, through the screws - and then finally the fixing nut, which is meant to be interfaced with a rubber washer. You have to do all of this, of course, with the screws pointing down, so basically everything keeps falling off as you do it. It really is pretty much impoossivle. Do not even try and start the job without another person next to you -and a great deal of patience.
Really, you would have thought that they would test the products first, before putting them on the market. Surely there must be an easier way to create a good looking product that is moisture-proof for use in a bathroom...
Would I buy this product again? No.

Rated 2 out of 5 by rande Looks good but awkward to fit
The connecting fittings for the base/surround/cover/washers/nuts need 2 persons to connect, almost impossible for one person. You have to hold several elements and gave up trying to hold all parts & fasten nuts by myself.

The light works and covered the hole left by the previous incumbent, but putting it all together, bearing in mind it was an overhead installation, was a nightmare.
