I've used various wall plugs in the past and been let down by the grip of the plug but these babies are excellent. They hold the screw into the wall and securely hold whatever I am putting up on the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gelert The only rawlplug worth buying!
These rawlplugs are simply the only ones worth buying IMHO.
I always under-drill my holes, especially in breeze-block, to 5.5mm. Then hoover out the dust, and finally recess the rawlplug in the wall 2mm below the surface, with a hammer and a 10mm (3/8") Pin-punch.
But beware! If you need to inset these via a hole in e.g. first-fix timber battens into a concrete ceiling, you won't be able to - they have a square face that stops them spinning when driving the screw home - and this square face won't allow the rawlplug to pass through a 6mm hole.
Other than that, superb...and the colour matches the blood...! ;-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by mobileDIY man Best you can get
As a professional handyman, I use 100's of plastic plugs every week, and I have to be 100% sure they will stay fast in a variety of surfaces. I can assure you, these are the best plugs on the market !!! The square ends help to make sure they don't spin in plasterboard. (Tip: in soft walls drill the hole 5.5mm so you get a tight fit). I can only get them in 150's in Homebase, it's just a shame they don't do them in trade-sized packs!
