Rated 3 out of 5 by Good sink- beware of fittings My plumber warned me about homebase products but I was too tempted by the price. The sink is fine but the fittings are 'European' sized so if you are replacing a sink, and want to join it to already existing pipework, you or your plumber will have to go out and buy additional fittings. 27 August 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Phoenix Contessa 150 Sink Looks great, metal seems rather thin, I installed a tall monobloc tap and it moves if you touch the top, there is a triangular stiffener with the sink I used that, no change, all said its a minor quibble. installing is made 500% more difficult by the lack of a template or dimensions in the instructions, I got it spot on but had to spend a long time measuring and checking as I did not want to mess up my worktop. The bowls do fit in a 600mm base so long as you cut one side of the base out and turn the base units top pieces through 90 degrees, again I had to work that out and drill new dowel holes for them, so you need dowel points, a wide clamp and a jig saw to fit this sink into a homebase base, not advised for a DIY virgin, one slip and you need a new piece of worktop or a new base. Homebase needs to look again at the instructions supplied with this sink. 29 March 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality Very disappointing sink. For the price I'd have expected better, it is flimsy and stains easily. Not happy with my purchase. 14 March 2012
