Rated 5 out of 5 by Tango Drinka Excellent Quality, as expected
This is a very good product for the money,
It has a double sided blade so when one side starts to blunt (and you know what you're doing!) you can flip it over and it is as good as new.
Only downside is there is no bag, but i shred directly onto the floor then shovel it into a wheelbarrow for transportation

Moving this shredder is easy due to it's very light weight and it certainly does a good job, reducing branches and twigs to small pieces ideal for composting.
My only dislike is the shrill, high pitched whistle emanating from the motor during use, I would recommend good quality ear protectors!

I was surprised to see this marked so low. I have been using one of these in my daughter's garden all this year without any problem. I was so impressed with it, when my own gave up the ghost this weekend, I went specifically for this model when I got a new one. So far I have pruned two trees right back and this has coped with them without any problem (sticking to branches of the suggested diameter) Overall I have been using this model for eight months now without any problem.

Good at first but after Beech hedge clippings up to12mm seriously baulked at 30mm Hazel which had previously cut well. Turning the blade to use second cutting edge needed more force than could be applied to allen key until an extension handle, 250mm of "Gasspipe" was used. Literature included with replacement blade stated a new screw (Pre-treated) to be used for every re-fixing but no warning with original or provision to supply. Looks like a job for locking compound instead. Neither of these items are readily available from Homebase Garden Tools Section. The supply of a tool made by bending 200mm of 6mm steel rod centrally through 270 deg round a 15mm round former would be better than recommended Screwdriver of uncertain dimensions for locking the spinning plate against the high torque needed for servicing.Good, but the moving parts seem a bit light to contain effective Kinetic Energy

This is without doubt the best shredder I have used, but be careful not to get grit or stones in with what you are shredding as the blade will dull quickly if you do, otherwise it is great, and not too noisy,
