In revamping our 1930s house we have looked to include features which were not too dissimilar to the designs of the time. Out of the predominantly Victorian designs on offer for ceiling roses, this one stood out - it is simple and unfussy yet very effective and sets off any light fitting without overcomplicating the look.
Hard to find in a lot of Homebase stores now, we have had to seek other outlets to carry the theme through our house since buying our initial batch from Homebase. Shame, as these are really good quality products.
Easy to fit and paint.

As an experienced fiberous plasterer for over 20 years I bought two of these in haste for a job that needed done quickly I normaly buy from a local moulding firm .. What can I say apart from the manufacturer needs a lesson in how to make plaster mouldings the product was pure plaster no scrim cloth or lath in the product to give it strength or to allow a screw or nail to get a grip..A bit like trying to screw holes in a china plate. My advice dont buy this rubbish..
