Rated 1 out of 5 Pretty useless
Supposed to go to 8 square metres it would be fairer to say eight centimetres. Even checked water pressure, still no good.

Not especially good, but value for money considering the cost

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nethergreen Excellent during a prolonged dry spell
Made it easy to do deep, extended watering every now and then in our large garden during a long dry spell this summer. Was cheap and reliable

Something not right with the way this is made.
I have excellent water pressure, but this "sprinkler" manages to cover an area literally 1m in diameter - no matter how far tap is opened/closed.
As it digs into the ground, it can't even be dragged around the lawn by the hose to water the rest of lawn.
So, total waste of time & money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Martha Just what I needed
The ground was getting drier and my arms were getting longer by the minute. Something had to be done. Yes, the obvious. Use the hosepipe instead of the cans.
Not as easy as you think. Where was it? When did I last use it? I hunted around in the garage for over an hour. Just as I was thinking that a cup of tea would be a better idea I found the hose and exited the garage cobwebby but triumphant. Straight to the outside tap I went but, oh dear, I had lost the sprinkler which should have been attached to the end. Without looking in the mirror ( good job I didn't) I jumped in the car and - keeping within the speed limit - hurtled down to Homebase hoping that they were still open. They were! I went straight to the garden section and there, on one of the peg,s was a lovely range of sprinklers. The relief.
I took the one I wanted - so cheap to buy - and dashed home. I went to fix it to the hose bu,t silly me, I had forgotten in my haste that I needed a connector between the hose and the sprinkler. All was not lost. I found a connector and watched in satisfied enjoyment as the garden was gradually watered without any lifting and carrying.
Thank you homebase. Your SPIKE SPRINKLER has made my summer. Perhaps you can sell them next year with a connector?

This product is an absolute waste of money!!! Do not buy unless your garden measures 2ft square!!!! I will be returning the product first thing - it does not cover the area it states it does!!!

The little sprinkler is exactly that. A little sprinkler. It claims an arc of 8 metres of coverage and we found ourselves having to move it around a lot to cover our garden which measures approximately 18' by for 40'
I would suggest it costs more than it's true value. The sprinkler needs to cover a wider area rather than spraying mostly up in the air. A bit of a wet squib if you ask me.
